Tuning an Uberti 1849 Pocket Model Part 1

Unfortunately, most new cap and ball revolvers need some slicking up when you get them, but it seems like the little .31 caliber pocket models, whether they are Colt or Remington clones, and regardless of whether they were manufactured by Pietta or Uberti, are particularly rough.

I’ve never pulled one of these little mouse guns from the box, and been satisfied with the action.

In this series I’ll slick up the incredibly rough action on a new Uberti .31 caliber, 1849 Pocket Model. In Episode 1 I’ll work on the major components of the gun, and, in part 2, I’ll address the individual internal parts.
